Burning the Map - Synopsis

Laura Caldwell's fist novel, Burning the Map, was chosen as one of The Best of 2002 by Barnes & Noble.com and called "a fun, snappy read" by Booklist. Burning the Map follows the adventures of Casey Evers as she takes a last hurrah trip to Rome and Greece with her girlfriends before starting her job at a big Chicago law firm. Casey wants to escape her problems-a lackluster relationship with her boyfriend, her parent's own failing relationship, and her anxiety about working for a living-but instead she is forced to make choices during her vacation that will change her life.
